Family Therapy & CRAFT for Addiction
Help for families, even when the person is not ready yet.
What is Family Therapy & CRAFT?
Addiction affects the whole family. Family therapy improves communication and rebuilds trust. CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training) teaches relatives practical ways to encourage a loved one towards treatment while looking after themselves.
How it helps in addiction

Frequently asked questions
My family member refuses treatment. Can we still come?
Yes. Many families start alone. CRAFT-style guidance helps you respond in ways that increase the chance they accept help.
Will the person be told?
Family sessions are about your own support. We do not contact the person without a clear plan and, where relevant, their consent.
Is this the same as an intervention?
Not necessarily. Many families choose a gentle, planned approach rather than a confrontation, and we advise what suits your situation.
